My friends from my Monday evening Bible study gave me a "grandma shower" yesterday and I am afraid that the truth is hard to face. This is what I will become in about two weeks when our little granddaughter arrives on the scene. (Maybe I will be able to find a way to snap back as I did after I was pregnant those four times). Yesterday, for a couple of hours, I looked just like my own Grandmas--except that they had a lot more style than this.

You haven't seen the half of where I was in this picture. That is the back room of Chelsie Park's home (she is Aja Peterson's mom). The rest of the house is all original art deco furniture. There is a Mae West master bedroom, a Marilyn Monroe guest bath and a '50's motel guest room. The back room is Chelsie's hair salon and it is called the Copa Cabana. It is all tropical, beachy stuff. Incredible. I took pictures of everything, but I haven't put them up yet. I love Chelsie's style!
