Too tired

OK, I just got back from a wonderful vacation, but I also just finished answering emails for two hours. So this is all anyone gets from this blog today. We're back. See you soon.

Vacation (!)

We leave in less than 12 hours for our New England vacation! Abby will be playing with Legos (or the Legos) while we are gone. They said they will take care of her and we know that means she will be at their house, sleeping on their beds and going on "field trips" with them the whole time we are gone. Lucky dog.

MEGAN!

I'm going to Mississippi to see Megan...and her buddies...and her church...and her work Oct. 25-30! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!

Breakthrough

For those who have been aware of recent extended family news, last night there was a breakthrough. Rick and Diane spontaneously went to see Grandma and Grandpa. There wasn't any talk of past offenses, but communication was re-established, praise God! I keep praying for real and lasting, biblical peacemaking to take place. God is answering in His own gentle and kind way and that is enough for me for now. He is so much wiser than I....
